Miru subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel any time and you'll keep access through the end of your current paid period.
Plain-language summary
Do you offer refunds?
Miru subscriptions are generally non-refundable. If you cancel your plan, you’ll continue to have access through the end of your current billing period.
What if I was charged in error?
Email support@miruplayer.app within 7 days of the charge. We’ll take a look.
Who processes my payment?
We use Stripe to process payments. Refunds, when we issue them, appear on the same payment method you used to subscribe.
1. Cancel anytime
If you cancel your subscription, you’ll continue to have access through the end of your current billing period. Cancellation does not trigger a refund of any prior payments.
You can cancel from your Stripe billing portal at any time. The link to your portal appears in every Miru subscription confirmation email; if you can’t find it, email support@miruplayer.app and we will send it to you.
2. The 7-day free trial
You get 7 days of full access to Miru before any charge. This is the time to evaluate whether Miru works for your setup — your content provider, your TV, your network — before you commit.
Once your first payment is processed, your subscription begins and is non-refundable.
3. Charged in error?
If you believe a charge was made in error — for example a double-charge, a billing bug, a child or other household member using your card without permission, or you accidentally subscribed to the wrong product — contact us within 7 days of the charge so we can investigate.
Please include:
- The email address on your Miru account
- The approximate date of the charge
We typically respond within 2 business days. We review every request and resolve genuine billing errors. We do not, however, issue refunds for ordinary cancellation or for time that you have already used the service.
4. Contact
For all refund questions, billing concerns, and charged-in-error inquiries, email support@miruplayer.app.
5. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us at support@miruplayer.app. We resolve nearly all billing concerns directly and quickly.
Initiating a chargeback while you are an active Miru subscriber may result in account termination, in line with our Terms of Service.
6. Payments and tax
Miru is the seller of record for all subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe on Miru’s behalf, and applicable tax is calculated and collected at checkout via Stripe Tax. Any refund we issue is processed back to your original payment method.
For billing questions, email support@miruplayer.app.
